The Proprietor and Her Family

 The proprietor of the Pink City Guest House, Mrs Indira Dayal, holds Masters degrees in English Literature and Indian Classical Music, and has a range of hobbies - from music through cooking to gardening (Ikebana, bonsai, landscaping, tray gardens) - in which she maintains her interest through new learning, practice and teaching. She also designs and builds table top fountains using stone and earthenware, often integrating plants and lights into creations of lasting beauty. With her children well settled in New Delhi, and Westchester and Chappaqua Counties, NY, she has now opened her home to foreign & upper class families traveling to Jaipur.
Her husband is from an illustrious line that records its lineage for over 15 generations. He is an engineer now retired from active management consultancy work. He provides full support, along with their able staff, in ensuring that guests enjoy their stay here.
